GitHub Copilot: Microsoft GitHub Copilot course, completed as part of my professional watch in cybersecurity and IT.

Real-world use case

To integrate generative AI into my own development work and that of my clients, I completed this Microsoft GitHub Copilot course.

The "GitHub Copilot" training path is designed for software development professionals who want to boost their productivity with artificial intelligence. This course covers discovering and mastering the GitHub Copilot programming assistant, integrated into Visual Studio Code and other environments.

The course catalog covers in particular the following modules:

  • Understanding AI concepts applied to development
  • Discovering how GitHub Copilot works
  • Installing and configuring GitHub Copilot in your environment
  • Using Copilot to generate code automatically
  • Adapting Copilot's suggestions to your needs
  • Collaborating effectively with Copilot as a team

The training takes about 2 days. You should then allow around 1h45 for the certification exam itself: GitHub Copilot.
