Cybersecurity point of contact for small businesses: ANSSI course, completed as part of my professional watch in cybersecurity and IT.

Real-world use case

To help small and medium businesses with their cyber compliance, I completed this ANSSI "Cybersecurity Point of Contact" course.

The "Cybersecurity Point of Contact for Small Businesses" training path is designed for both non-IT professionals and IT professionals in charge of initiating and sustaining a cybersecurity prevention approach. The course catalog covers the following modules:

  • Identify the cybersecurity issues specific to the company, taking into account its legal and technological environment
  • Assess the company's security level
  • Implement cybersecurity: build an action plan

The training takes about 4 days. You should then allow around 1h for the certification exam itself: Cybersecurity Point of Contact for Small Businesses.

Conclusion

This ANSSI course prepares professionals and non-professionals to become the cybersecurity point of contact within a small or medium business. It covers identifying security issues specific to the company, assessing the existing security level, and building a suitable action plan. A particularly useful certification for supporting small organizations in their cybersecurity approach.
